Crown Court was courtroom drama which ran between 1972 to 1984 and shown in the afternoons on ITV where it was produced by Granada Television. A court case in the Crown Court of the fictional town of Fulchester would typically be played out over three weekdays in half-hour episodes. Although those involved in the case were actors, the jury was made up of members of the general public from the local Granada Television area and it was this jury alone which decided the verdict.

TO SUFFER A WITCH: REGINA v VINCENT
Synopsis: Adelaide Vincent, a self-styled High Priestess of a witches coven, is charged with manslaughter following the death of Charles Laker. Laker was rushed to hospital suffering a serious and ultimatly fatal illness which had no cure. In a moment of lucidity he claimed was cursed by the bewitching Vincent.
