Crown Court was courtroom drama which ran between 1972 to 1984 and shown in the afternoons on ITV where it was produced by Granada Television. A court case in the Crown Court of the fictional town of Fulchester would typically be played out over three weekdays in half-hour episodes. Although those involved in the case were actors, the jury was made up of members of the general public from the local Granada Television area and it was this jury alone which decided the verdict.

THE JUDGEMENT OF SOLOMAN: REGINA v KAMONY AND KAMONY
Synopsis: Following an High Court judgment Kenyan couple the Kamuny's failed to win back their daughter from the Hathaway's who had been her foster parents for the last nine years. Three weeks later, Mr Hathaway was injured by a car driven by Mr Kamuny. The Kamuny's are now on trial accused of causing grevious bodily harm to Mr Hathaway.
