A slow period, highlighted by Jean-Paul Valley paying Bane back for what he did to Bruce Wayne in Batman #500.
The four-issue Elseworlds JSA mini-series Golden Age began, as did the three-issue prestige-format Streets, and Vertigo\'s Extremist (4 issues).
