DC Comics Chronology - Post-Crisis Pack 31
featuring DC titles published between July 1990 and September 1990
This segment begins with us saying hello to Shade, the Changing Man, who begins a 70-issue run which will take him across the country and back with his crazy lesbian friends, and eventually landing him among the Original Six Vertigo titles.
Alas, shortly after Shade joins the DC party, we say farewell to the Fire Elemental; Firestorm's 100-issue run comes to a close in August with a 64-page final-issue blowout.
A couple of weeks later, Who's Who in the DC Universe returns, with a 16-issue run in 8.5x11" three-hole-punched format, perfect for three-ring binders.
Other notable issues included the movie adaptation Total Recall, Flash Special #1, 'Mazing Man Special #3 (his final solo appearance), the TSR Worlds Annual, and Piranha's Nation of Snitches graphic novel.
Volume Three of Blackhawk also came to a close, and the Steve Rude World's Finest three-issue miniseries began. Unfortunately, those issues are missing from this pack. Perhaps they'll turn up for a fill pack.
