The 'Integrated Search Technologies' adware/spyware toolbar has been contaminating Gnutella G1 & G2 and Shareaza networks through some malicious server that parrots it back with the filename of anything the vicitim is searching for. When you download and unpack it, it installs the virus which operates even if you're not running MSIE at the time. Once installed, it poses as these files, among others:
The file in this torrent is a free tool created by Symantec's Anti-Virus Center to automatically remove the IST toolbar virus. More information, and detailed manual removal instructions, including Registry entries are given on the Symantec page addressed above.
If you've downloaded any file on any P2P network that installed the IST applet, run this removal tool, and then go to IST and complain about their ILLEGAL corruption of the P2P system you got it on. P2P users undoubtedly have a valid Criminal Complaint against this company, and a potential Class Action Lawsuit, if anyone has the time to pursue it.
PLEASE check your Shared Files library collection, for any format of packed file which contains only the following two entries: "License.txt" and "Setup.exe" and is between 100k and 300k in size. You can read the License.txt file from WinRAR without opening it, and it has "Integrated Search Technologies" on the very first line.
PLEASE then report the abuse to them and complain here: http://www.ysbweb.com/abuse.html
