HighGrow ObjectivesWhat's the point of growing electronic marijuana? Yes, this is an excellent first question. It seems like such a pointless thing to do, considering the fact that it will be absolutely impossible to smoke the end result. Why spend months carefully nurturing your growing plants, watching them develop, mature and flower if there is no possible way to sample your harvest?
There are actually two very good answers to this question.
Firstly, this program offers you a unique opportunity to learn more about this fantastic plant and secondly, it is tremendously rewarding to watch how your plants respond to daily care and attention and how the plant's health and potency are directly influenced by your actions.
After all, what's the point of playing any game or other computer recreational activity?
What's the goal or objective of HighGrow?The program allows you to choose three marijuana seeds and plant them in three pots in a virtual growroom. When watered, these seeds will all germinate and begin their life cycle as determined by their genetic structure. By caring for your plants every few days, you'll be able to watch them grow strongly and develop potent flowering buds. If you ignore or forget about them however, they will die after a week or two.
You'll be able to manage and control the plants' environment by watering, fertilizing and by adjusting the light height and photoperiod. You'll also be able to control and improve growth by pruning growing tips. Finally, you'll decide the exact moment to harvest your crop.
When you harvest your plants, the dry mass, health and final potency (measured in %THC) of each plant is calculated and compared with each other (and with other plants from previous efforts). You will then be awarded a certificate of merit for every plant you successfully harvest.
Where do I start?Start by choosing and planting a few seeds. There are thirty excellent seeds available, all guaranteed to germinate. Some seeds are of the Cannabis Sativa variety, which grow tall and slim, while others are from the Cannabis Indica variety, not growing as tall, but developing into very potent bushy plants. You may choose and plant any three seeds at any time, simply by entering any name for your plant and pressing the "Plant This Seed" button.
If you water each seed a little when you plant it, adjust the height of the lights to just above the pots and set the timers, you won't have to do anything more for the next few days. Each plant's daily health and growth is calculated as the program is started up (or at midnight if the program is running) and you should be able to notice some signs of life within a day or two after planting.
How will I know what to do?It's actually quite simple to see whether your plants are responding positively to your actions or not. Each plant's health is calculated, logged and charted, so you'll soon notice when one of your plants is not doing too well. Everything that you do to your plants will affect their growth.
Although your plants will continue to grow and develop with minimal attention, you will be more aware of how your actions influence their growth if you visit the growroom every day.
