Dans la lignée de logiciels comme Handbrake ou plus exactement de DVDShrink, DVDFab permet de réaliser une copie moins volumineuse d'un DVD en supprimant les pistes son, les titres ou les menus de son choix. Vous pouvez réaliser une copie du disque sur un DVD double couche, copier le titre principal, répartir le contenu d'un DVD sur deux disques simple couche ou encore réunir le contenu de plusieurs disques sur un seul. Il propose pour celà une interface simple et agréable.



Le logiciel peut gérer la création des fichiers nécessaires à la gravure du DVD, mais également créer une image ISO ou graver directement le disque. Les principaux formats de DVD enregistrables sont gérés : DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R DL et DVD-R DL. La version Platinum permet en plus de convertir le contenu d'un DVD en un fichier vidéo lisible sur iPod, PSP, ou autres appareils mobiles.
