Book Collector
is a program that helps you catalog your personal
library. This organizer software runs on Windows 95, 98, NT4, ME,
XP and 2000. An Apple Mac OS X edition is in development (ETA Q3
2005).

Catalog your collection
Adding items to the database is quick and easy, just type the
author and title or scan its barcode with your barcode scanner to
search by ISBN. This software will automatically download all
data (author, title, publisher, genre, etc... including the cover
image). The information is retrieved from various book database
sites on the internet (like the Amazon, Powell\'s and Barnes &
Nobles book catalogs, the Library of Congres book database and 12
other national library databases).

View and search the book database
Once you have added a number of books to the inventory, you can
view it in the main screen. It is possible to show a simple list
of all books, but you can also organize your library by author,
publisher or genre, etc.. using the automatic folder feature. All
lists can be sorted instantly, just by clicking the column
headers or by using the Sort Order screen. You can sort on any
field, e.g. alphabetically on title or author, or sorted on
release date or purchase date. Use the Quick Search feature to
find all books that contain the word you type, or use the
Advanced Filter command to search in specific fields, even
multiple fields at once.

Print lists
Lists can be printed in any way you want. The Print feature lets
you choose which books to print, which fields to show and in what
order to list them. Printed lists are ideal for insurance
purposes, or to take with you to the store. The Pro edition of
the program also includes a number of templates for other nicely
formatted print-outs. The flexible XML/XSL-based template system
lets you create your own layouts too (requires XSL programming
skills). Visit our Templates page to download templates created
by other users.

Export your book catalog (Pro edition only)
Using the Export to HTML feature you can generate HTML pages of
your inventory, for use on your homepage or website. You can
create one index page listing all books (with one row per book),
optionally linked to detail pages with one page per item. If you
want to be able to use your book data in other programs, use the
Export to XML or Export to Text functions. A special export
feature is included to export your database for use in the
ListPro software on your PDA (PocketPC or Palm).

Integrated Loan Manager (Pro edition only)
The built-in Loan Management system allows you to keep track of
books you loan to friends, family, etc... Just log which ones you
loaned and to whom and you will always know where your missing
items are.

Use Book Collector to:

? Catalog books without typing
All data is downloaded to your book database automatically

? Instantly sort your lists
On any field, e.g. alphabetically by author, title or genre, or
by year

? View book cover thumbnails
Download cover images or use the built-in TWAIN scanner support

? Search your book database
E.g. find a book by title or find all books you haven\'t read yet

? Print book lists
Ideal for insurance purposes. Print any field selection and in
any order

MP3 Collector
is a program that helps you catalog, tag and rename
your personal audio file collection. It supports MP3, Ogg Vorbis,
WMA, APE (monkey audio), FLAC and WAV files. This organizer
software runs on Windows 95, 98, NT4, ME, XP and 2000.

Catalog your audio files
Adding your files to the database is easy, just use the Add to
Database function and let the program scan your harddisk or a CD
for MP3, OGG, WMA, APE or WAV files. It will automatically read
the tags for information about the songs (artist, title, year,
genre, etc..) or parse it from the filenames. The parser can be
configured to match your filename formats. The catalog will store
the location of the files (e.g. \"harddisk1\", or \"CD-R 27\" so you
can always find your tracks quickly.

Edit your tags
The built-in tag editor supports ID3v1, ID3v2, WMA, APE and
Vorbis tags. You can edit tags manually, one by one, or use the
Batch Tag feature to tag files automatically in batch, using
information from the catalog, the filename or from the other tags
(e.g. to copy ID3v1 tags to ID3v2 tags). A preview screen lets
you review tag changes before they are actually written to the
file, so you are in complete control.

Rename your files
If you like your filenames to be consistent, e.g. in the format
\"01 Artist - Title.mp3\", MP3 Collector can help you make it so.
The Batch Renamer feature lets you define the file format you
want, then it automatically renames your audio files to that
format, using index, artist, title, album and genre information
from the database or your tags. Again, a Preview screen lets you
review proposed changes before the file are actually renamed.

View and search the file database
Once you have added a number of files to the inventory, you can
view the database on the main screen. It is possible to show a
simple list of all files, but you can also organize your library
by artist, album or location, etc.. using the automatic folder
feature. All lists can be sorted instantly, just by clicking the
column headers or by using the Sort Order screen. You can sort on
any field, e.g. alphabetically on artist or genre, or sorted on
bitrate. Use the Quick Search feature to find all songs that
contain the word you type, or use the Advanced Filter command to
search in specific fields, even multiple fields at once.

Print lists
Lists of your files can be printed in any way you want. The Print
feature lets you choose which files to print, which fields to
show and in what order to list them.

Export your catalog (Pro edition only)
Using the Export to HTML feature you can generate HTML pages of
your audio file inventory, for use on your homepage or website.
If you want to be able to use your MP3 data in other programs,
use the Export to XML or Export to Text functions.

Use MP3 Collector to:

? Catalog your audio files
Auto-scan your harddisk and CDs, read info from tags or filenames

? Edit ID3/WMA/APE/OGG tags
Edit file tags, one by one or automatically in batch

? Batch rename your files
Rename files automatically using tag or database information

? Instantly sort your lists
On any field, e.g. alphabetically by artist, title or bitrate

? Search your file database

Photo Collector is a program that helps you create a digital
photo album by cataloging your photo collection in a database.
This organizer software runs on Windows 95, 98, NT4, ME, XP and
2000.

Catalog your digital photo files:
Adding your files to the photo database is easy, just use the Add
Folder to Database command and let the program scan your harddisk
for JPG, TIFF, BMP or PNG files. It will automatically read the
EXIF and IPTC tags to extract photo date, camera and other
information. Use simple property editing screens or even dragging
and dropping to catalog your photos by subject, event, category,
etc...

Browse your photo album:
Group your photos by year, month or day, or by subject, event or
category. Then browse the folders on screen, viewing small
thumbnails of your pictures. Just move your mouse over a picture
to see a bigger thumbnail or double click to view the full photo.

View your photos easily:
Double click any image to open the View Photo screen, then use
Next/Previous buttons or the keyboard to browse through your
photos one by one. Zoom in to see details or use the full screen
mode to see your pictures in high resolution.

Edit your photos:
The integrated Edit Photo screens lets you perform basic image
editing functions, like rotate left/right, flip
horizontal/vertical, red-eye reduction, resizing, cropping and
brightness/color adjustment. The lossless JPEG rotate functions
can even be used right from the thumbnail view of the main screen
and from the View Photo screen.

Create self-running slideshows:
Use the built-in slideshow tool to start self-running full-screen
slideshow on any selection of photos. You decide how long each
pic should be shown, in which order and which transitions should
be used between images (many transitions-type available).

Search the photo database:
Once you have added your digital photo files to the inventory,
you can sort and search the database. All lists can be sorted
instantly, just by clicking the column headers in the List view
or by using the Sort Order screen. You can sort on any field,
e.g. alphabetically on caption, subject, file size, etc.... Use
the Quick Search feature to find all photos that have a specific
word anywhere in their property values, or use the Advanced
Filter command to search in specific fields, even multiple fields
at once.

Print photos, thumbnail sheet or property lists:
Use the Print Photos features to print your photos, one photo per
page. Or use the Print Lists/Thumbs feature to create reports of
your photo database, either as columnar property lists or as
thumbnail sheets (contact sheets).

Share your catalog online (Pro edition only):
Using the Export to HTML feature you can generate HTML pages of
your photo albums, for use on your homepage or website. Create
thumbnail pages or property lists, linking to detail pages with a
large image and detailed info about each photo.

Update EXIF and IPTC headers (Pro edition only):
Change photo properties in the Photo Collector database and write
them back to the EXIF and IPTC headers in the files, so that you
can use the data in other programs.
