is the simplest of all multi-clipboard programs. Just have it running minimized and it captures everything you cut or copy from other programs. It keeps the last 30 clips. When you want to paste one back, all you have to do is restore it and click on the clip you want. If you prefer to work entirely from the keyboard, you can choose a function key to restore and then paste any clip by typing the letter shown next to it. When you move the mouse over the clips, you can see them in the viewer. If the clip is text, you see several lines and if it is a graphic, you see a thumbnail.

ArsClip
is a utility for the windows clipboard. ArsClip monitors the clipboard and keeps track of the entries. Press a configurable hotkey and select an item (or items) to quickly paste into a program.

ArsClip used to be barebonez, but I think I can safely say that it has become a nicely featured program (due to user requests for changes). ArsClip remembers the last 15 (default) text entries entered into the Window's clipboard. Delphi 6 (Personal) source code is included - modify it freely for any non-profit use.

Clipomatic is a clipboard cache program - it remembers what was copied to the clipboard even after new data is copied, and allows you to retrieve the old data. While there are many programs that do the same, none are quite so convenient, simple to use, or efficient as Clipomatic.

How it works

Using Clipomatic is simple. All you have to do is start it up, and it will start monitoring the clipboard and recording its changes. This would normally be the end of an application life but when I was moving this spring to a new house I found a CD called "bkp". Well, it had MiniCLIP source on it so I tried it. It compiled without big problems and it also worked great! Now, let me remind you that this was written in a time when NT 4.0 was a hot beta and Windows 95 was gaining popularity.
But still, it works great. I only spent about 3 additional hours fixing few outdated things and it is ready to rock!

Actually it does much more than just capturing your text copy. And it does few things I don't even know what they really do anymore. You have a build in real scientific calculator, it mirrors links into a special "web bin" for better navigation. It has a "clipbook bin" where you can store text you use often. It has a feature called QuickRep which can substitute shortcut with full text (honestly, I probably never used it). You can type a command in it and press F5 to execute it, it has easy to use search, drag and drop, it can return focus back to the application etc.

Where is my MiniCLIP?

No bigger than a toolbar it is out of the way but still perfectly accessible.

What is really different from any other clipboard extenders is the interface. The MiniCLIP has the cleanest interface from them all. It doesn't open in a big window, it is actually build so it can always stay on top and still never "stand in a way".
Yes, when in full size it is no bigger than a toolbar and you can actually "bind" it into the task bar! A feature I haven't seen in other clipboard programs - and surprisingly it still works on Win2000 and Win XP (which is a bit puzzling to me since back then these OS were just our desire)
MiniCLIP can be Binded into the task bar. An it has even its own handle to roll it in or out. Something you don't see too often!

So I decided to give this little gem to public domain. There are many clipboard extenders but I think even after so many years my version has still its magic.

And I started using it by myself!

I tried to outline the basics on the right part of this page just to get you started.
However a detailed help is included, just click on MiniCLIP and press F1.
The help is 5 years old but it still covers all the functions. However since I made some recent changes in the program some things were removed or renamed. For example "Inline" is now called a Task Bar feature.

There are many logical things you may discover with MiniCLIP. I was perfecting the software many times over and over so it works for me. And I am very picky about text clipboard extenders - in fact I didn't like any of them so I wrote my own. But as always your mileage may vary, we are not all build the same way.

With Multi Clipboard you have access to nine clipboard texts (slots), which you can select either via mouseclick when the program window is active, or via Hotkey "Ctrl + NUMPAD 1.. 9", even if the program is inactive or minimized to the system tray. This copies the selected slot to the Windows clipboard, from which you can paste it into your active application (for instance with Ctrl + V). The hotkey "Ctrl + NUMPAD 0" hides or shows the program window, depending on the previous state. If nine slots are not enough and you need more, you can change to another of three available files.

Have you ever copied some text from a web page, a word document, help, etc., and wanted to paste it as simple text into another application without getting all the formatting from the original source? PureText makes this simple. Just copy/cut whatever you want to the clipboard, click on the PureText tray icon, and then paste to any application. Better yet, you can configure a Hot-Key to convert and paste the text for you. The pasted text will be pure and free from all formatting.

After running PureText.exe, you will see a "PT" tray icon appear near the clock on your task bar. To convert the data currently in the clipboard to pure text, simply click on the tray icon with the left mouse button.

You can also configure a system-wide Hot-Key to be used to activate PureText and convert the clipboard contents to pure text. To configure, right-click on the tray icon and choose "Options" from the pop-up menu. The default Hot-Key is WINDOWS+V. PureText can also optionally paste the converted text into the window that currently has the focus, which allows you to convert and paste in one keystroke.
What PureText Will and Will Not Do
PureText only removes rich formatting from text. This includes the font face, font style (bold, italics, etc.), font color, paragraph styles (left/right/center aligned), margins, character spacing, bullets, subscript, superscript, tables, charts, pictures, embedded objects, etc. However, it does not modify the actual text. It will not remove or fix new-lines, carriage returns, tabs, or other white-space. It will not fix word-wrap or clean up your paragraphs. If you copy the source code of a web page to the clipboard, it is not going to remove all the HTML tags. If you copy text from an actual web page (not the source of the page), it will remove the formatting.
PureText is basically equivalent to opening Notepad, doing a PASTE, followed by a SELECT-ALL, and then a COPY. The benefit of PureText is performing all these actions with a single Hot-Key and having the result pasted into the current window automatically.
