What is PDF?
# PDF is a popular way of formatting documents so they can be viewed and printed on multiple platforms without changing.
# Portable Document Format. An Adobe PostScript standard file format that is very popular on the web because it preserves the graphical look of a document, unlike HTML, which adapts itself to different browsers and has limited support for fonts.
# Portable Document Format. A format from Adobe that enables a document to be distributed on different systems while preserving the layout (.pdf).
What is XPS?
An XPS document is any file that is saved to the XML Paper Specification or .xps file format. Although you can create XPS documents (.xps files) by using any program that you can print from in Windows, you can view XPS documents only by using the XPS Viewer. If you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0, the viewer works with Internet Explorer and is included in this version of Windows.
