There have been several Weird Al Discologies running around .
But unfortunately none of them seemed to have the complete set of Weird Al.

So here it is - everything Weird Al that has officially released.

Who is Weird Al?

Weird Al is the most well known parody artist out there. There are 3 types of
songs he does. Of course, there are parodies. These songs take well known
tracks in popular music and change the words around (e.g. Coolio\'s \"Gangsta\'s
Paradise\" becomes \"Amish Paradise\". He also does Polkas, which take a bunch of
those same types of songs and he sings a few of the actual lyrics to a polka
beat (usually one of these per album). The third category are original tracks,
which of course means he cameup with them on his own.

Please check out the tracks.pdf file, especially if you want more info on the
tracks. That file contains a listing of all the tracks in this discology and
what song(s) they are a parodies of (if anything). hxxp://www.alsongs.com/
needs to be mentioned, as much of this info is from their site. Lyrics can also
be found on there if you want them.

For the sake of completeness there is some info in the tracks.pdf file on
tracks which are unreleased. These were performed on tours and such, but never
officially recorded.

This Release Contains All 11 Studio Albums:

Polka Party [1986]
Even Worse [1988]
UHF [1989]
Off The Deep End [1992]
Alapalooza [1993]
Bad Hair Day [1996]
Running With Scissors [1999]
Poodle Hat [2003]

It Also Contains the \"Special Project\" Peter And The Wolf [1988].
The \"Special Project\" Babalu Music was not included, since Weird Al is not
heard on it.

All of the \"Cheesy Compilations\" are repackaging tracks from the Studio Albums.
The Greatest Hits I and II, The Food Album, Al In The Box, and the TV Album
are all not included. The only track on any of those albums not on a studio
album is \"Headline News\" which is included in the \'Other Tracks\' folder. No
reason to have 3 or 4 copies of the same files floating around.

The are 2 other tracks released elsewhere, but not on any of his albums. Spy
Hard and Polkamon are also included in the \'Other Tracks\' folder.

These aren\'t my rips, all are at least 128 kbps. The files have been retagged
from the way I found them. The ID3v2 tags (if there) were stripped. They all
have ID3v1 tags filled out uniformly with the album, track number, year, title,
artist, and genre included. No spam in the comments either.

Have tracks that are not included with this release that Weird Al did? Not so
fast - chances are its not actually Weird Al. Seems there are a ton of other
people that did parodies over the years. Unfortunately when someone doesn\'t
know who did it, they seem to slap Weird Al\'s name on it and post it on p2p
networks. Windows 95 Sucks, What if God Smoked Cannabis, 12 Pains Of
Christmas, Baby Got Jack are a few examples.

So to sum up - unlike some other discographies this release contains it all.
Only some unreleased tracks, greatest hits albums (without new material) and
an album which Al helped with but does not sing on were excluded. And of
course those tracks floating around on p2p networks which are mislabeled as
Weird Al songs are not included either.
