A little explanation is in order...
What I do: I transfer vinyl LPs onto CD for a fee. I utilize vintage stereo equipment and capture the audio into 24Bit files. I then edit and dither the files down to 16Bit for audio CD mastering. I also archive the 24Bit source files for mastering High-Definition audio DVDs. The results are quite amazing.

I do my best to avoid clipping while at the same time preserving the punch and vibrancy of the original audio. I do not employ any compression, equalization or other psycho-acoustic devices ... what you hear is what is on the record.
The tracks in this collection were transferred from vinyl of various stages of quality, let\\\\\\\'s say Good to Very Good to Near Mint. None were from Mint / Unopened LPs and yet the sound on some certainly blows away the commercially available audio CD counterparts. These MP3 files were extracted from finished audio CDs I made using the above mastering process. See what you think.
