Dana Countryman & James Jacques Perrey - The Happy Electropop Music Machine (2006)
Jean Jacques Perrey (born 1929) predates even Kraftwerk in the pioneering of electronic music (and kicks their ass too, though he's not as popular). One of the innovators in space age pop and masters of moog. His most famous track E.V.A from 1970 is one of the most widely sampled songs in music.
His recent music completely defies genres. I think it mostly just tries to be funny. It's loaded with insanity however. Listen to like one or two tracks and you'll be like "whoa, what was that". Listening to more than that makes you insane and destroys brain cells faster than the worst inhalants. If you wish to become a retard then this music probably does it for you. If soul is the music of love, then this is the music of retardation. But it's good.
Full of moogs and stupid cow samples. Watch out for the six part "Troll's story" that is full of epic.
The first album I've ever actually bought (for $15!). Now shared too. (y):D
