Nel disco saranno presenti versioni remixate di canzoni degli anni '40 e '50. Gli artisti che si sono occupati di remixare le canzoni sono Oscar the Punk e Moby, i quali hanno aggiornato le musiche "con l'atmosfera del gioco in mente."

"Nonostante queste canzoni classiche degli anni '40 e '50 evochino una certa felicità, esse portano un aspetto etereo alla città sottomarina di Rapture," ha dichiarato Cristoph Hartmann, presidente di 2K Games. Secondo Hartmann, le tre tracce remixate (Beyond the Sea, God Bless the Child and Wild Little Sisters) donanno nuova vita a "classici indelebili."
