One of the worlds most collectible Psych LP’s ! ( 6 stars in Pokora vol 3001 page 122)
This is an incredible ACID FUZZ trip with totally wild sounds (well in harmony with the Amazon forest) crossing path between folk hysteria and groovy fuzz cosmic psychedelia, with lots of acoustic exotic instruments and also mind blowing percussion, to create one of the wildest psych epics every recorded anywhere. Set into four movements devoted to the four elements, and all based on lula & Ze ramalho’s discovery of metaphysical alien hieroglyphics deep in the amazon jungle while on a seriously heavy acid trip. no joke! Full psychedelic spectrum covering gentile ethno jungle space-outs, lysergic folk ragas a la SATWA, heavy tribal freak-outs, and some seriously dosed kraut-esque farfisa & fuzz guitar jamming. Total mind warper. This is the first of only 2 releases on the SOLAR label (the 2nd is FLAVIOLA).
Lula pressed 1000 copies just days before the great recife flood of 1975 that completely submerged & destroyed the Rozenblit recording studio (along with all master tapes) where the records were being stored. amidst the rising waters lula single-handly saved about 300 copies of the album one armload at a time... making for one of the rarest lps ever from south America.
