Lord of the Dance is a show that traces the history of one of the oldest legends of Irish folklore and marry jigs, tap and ballet. The original cast of the show consists of thirty-five members from Ireland, led by Michael Flatley.
The show has attracted over seven million viewers in over twenty countries around the world. The world tour took place through four different troops: Troupe turned 1 in Europe, Troupe 2 in the United States, the Troupe 3 permanently in Las Vegas, and the Troupe 4 American flag to EPCOT at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida for a total of about two hundred dancers, all Michael Flatley as artistic director. Roughly four million videos of the show were purchased in the world.
Former lead dancer in the phenomenally successful "Riverdance" Irish dance troupe, Michael Flatley headlines this spectacular dance performance combining traditional Irish dance with a decidedly sexy '90s flair and an original score.
