Most of Glen's hits were arranged and produced by a Capitol inhouse producer (and a famous studio player) Al DeLory. I like his simple but effective string arrangements. Glen likes 12-string guitar and he used several of them, including Mosrite and Ovasion. And he played all kinds of guitars. You can hear Danelectro 6-string bass guitar solo on the instrumental break of "Wichita Lineman." Yeah, that's beautiful. Young Jimmy Gordon sat behind the trap on this track. Listen to the sequence toward the fadeout. Jimmy had a touch even when he was very young. "Guess I'm Dumb" is an early recording written, arranged and produced by Brian Wilson. "Sassy" is an instrumental tune written and arranged by fellow studio guitar player, great Billy Strange.
