Here is a cheat thats been around for a while for online play
There are instruction also included in the torrent

1..Load Race Driver Grid then minimize the game(Ctrl+Alt+Delete)
2..Laoad cheat engine 5.4
3..Press the glowing red and green box
4..Find the GRID.EXE...highlight and press ok
5..Put tick in Enable speedcheat box, under speed put between 1.8 and 3.0
8..Press setspeed(DO NOT CLOSE CHEAT ENGINE)
7..Go back into game and have fun

This cheat will speed your game up making you
do less laps. If you put speed to 3.0 or more you can pause the game
and let it win for you.

REMEMBER.....DO NOT CLOSE THE CHEAT ENGINE.....
