| | Aaron Jay's Influence Records drops a heavy | |
| | piece of Detroit flavoured drum and bass for | |
| | its sixth release by up and coming Hungarian | |
| | producer Bal. Bal has been steadily making a | |
| | name for himself over the past 2 years. | |
| | Having had support from Marcus Intalex on Red | |
| | Bull Radio, Bal has already been signed to | |
| | Vampire Records and Nu:Tone's Brand:Nu, but | |
| | debuts his first full 12" on Influence. | |
| | Marquee Moon is a synth-laden track | |
| | reminiscent of some early Intalex | |
| | productions; a progressive track with pads | |
| | weaving in and out of a distinct bassline. | |
| | High strings bring landscaped emotions to a | |
| | digital charged piece. Blow Up is a moodier | |
| | track with minor key stabbing pads bringing | |
| | an unusual vibe to this masterpiece. The drop | |
| | unleashes a masterful call and answer | |
| | bassline taking things to a higher energy | |
| | dance floor level. Support of both tracks | |
| | comes from Radio1, Fabio, Lynx, Flight, | |
| | 1Xtra's Crissy Criss, Spirit, Data, Soul | |
| | Intent and Eveson. Watch out for an EP by Bal | |
| | on Influence later in 2009. | |
