I have tried a new codec, it seems to have done the job quite well, at a smaller file size from what i can see. It is a lot better quality than XviD and no blocks. Audio is AC3 so crystal. You may need the x264 codec, once you got that, it will play like an Xvid or Divx file. Dvd players should be able to take it because it is the same codec that tv is transmitted in.
