Wife Swap UK Series 6 + The Aftermath Episodes

Wife Swap is a reality series where the wives of two families change places for two weeks. For the first week the wives must live the same way as the wive lives in the other household. In the second week they can implement changes and make all the rules.

Wife Swap UK Series 6 + The Aftermath Episodes
Episode 1: BAFTA-winning Wife Swap returns for a sixth series. Expect the unexpected as more families agree to swap wives and lives for two weeks, putting their values and temperaments to the test.
By supplanting two mums from typical British households with each other for two weeks, Wife Swap lifts the lid on how families live today. From how they bring up children to what’s on their shopping list, each couple is rigorously tested by the disruption of their routine. And frequently they are forced to confront the good and the bad in their home lives.
Yvonne from Uxbridge changes places with Michele from the Isle of Wight, whose life couldn’t be more different.
Yvonne is married to Dave and is devoted to her four children - Shannon (10), Michael (8), Hannah (5) and Amy (2). She’s a strict routinist and spends her days cleaning her already immaculate home.
By contrast, Michele isn’t an enthusiastic homemaker or parent. In fact, already the mother to Melanie (16), Michele was ‘devastated’ when she found she was pregnant with twins. They, Sophie and Stephen, are now three years old. Michele enjoys going out to the pub so much that she’s got a job there and is out five nights a week, leaving the housework, shopping and cooking to her partner Ian. Ian would love Michele to help more but no-one can tell Michele what to do and Ian certainly wouldn’t dare!
How does Yvonne, who feels lost without her children, cope in a house where she has to go out five nights a week and work in a pub? And what does Michele make of her new life where she’s expected to clean to a strict timetable, cook a Sunday roast, and not go out at all?

Episode 2: Channel 4's top-rating, award-winning documentary series continues. Expect the unexpected as more families agree to swap wives and lives for two weeks. The aim is to get under the skin of what it is like to live the life of somebody else. The result is fabulously revealing television.
This week's lifestyle swap produces such a juicy confrontation you wonder why they didn't run it first in the series. By now the producers must have figured out what makes for a good show: an outrageous baddie whose ideas about family living are so warped you long to see them put right; and a temporary partner with the gumption to do just that. Our villain is Brian, a monstrous ex-military man who runs his home like a boot camp, bawling at his downtrodden wife Karen and making the kids do press-ups for punishment. Watching him have his drink prepared (with a straw cut to just the right length) and his precious lounge rug fluffed up is excruciating. Joy of joys, he meets his match in brassy Sharon, who describes him succinctly as "a dick" and generally gives as good as she gets. The result? Some volcanic rows of the kind that Wife Swap fans have learnt to love.

Episode 3: BAFTA-winning Wife Swap returns for a sixth series.
Jayne Harris loves anything and everything pink and fluffy so much so that she's about to give up her job in Tesco and open a shop selling everything pink and fluffy. Not being into anything remotely boyish, Jayne spends her time shopping for clothes and make-up with her nine-year-old daughter Sasha, leaving her partner Martin to look after six-year-old Max.

Episode 4: Final episode in the sixth series of BAFTA-winning Wife Swap. Expect the unexpected as more families agree to swap wives and lives for two weeks, putting their values and temperaments to the test. By supplanting two mums from typical British households with each other for two weeks, Wife Swap lifts the lid on how families live today.
Jo, who lets her children run the roost, swaps places with Suzanne, who believes that children are children and adults are in charge.
In Jo’s house, the children rule the roost. There are no strict bedtimes, they can eat what they like and watch what they like. Though she believes in giving them a free rein, she wonders whether she’s taken it too far. Jo is so overworked at home that she’d like to spend seven days a week in the relative peace of her flower shop. Her husband Dave should be a house-husband, but he's not exactly house-proud. And everyone in the house is so fussy about food that Jo often has to cook separate meals when she gets home.
Suzanne’s house couldn’t be more different. She believes that children are children and adults are in charge. Her three children are expected to pull their weight both at home and at the family sandwich shop. Will Dave stand by and see his children brought to heel, or will he defend their liberty? And what happens when Jo breaks the rules and takes the kids off for an impromptu trip to the bowling alley? Will it give Mark the excuse he needs to disobey the rules she lays down in her second week? And will he be able to regain the control of the children that he believes in so strongly?

Enjoy :-)
