The Black Box features three highly-awaited new games by
Valve: Half-Life« 2: Episode Two, the second installment in
the Half-Life 2 episodic trilogy; Team Fortress« 2, the sequel
to the game that put class-based, multiplayer team warfare on
the map; and Portal, the game that blends puzzles, first
person action, and adventure gaming to produce an
experience like no other.

This is a Steam ripped version of the Black box. Though this
box was and will never be released by Valve, because they
just kept on developing the Orange box instead. This Orange
box also includes Half-Life 2 Episode One and Half-Life 2
Single Player (1 part of the story). But due to the
incompability of the old engine used for Episode One and
Half-Life 2, it is not possible to release all the Orange box
games together as a rip in a single release.

If you want to play Episode One and Half-Life 2 or any Mods,
which are based on their engine, please download my Half-Life
2 Collection.

The Black box contains Half-Life 2 Episode Two, Portal and Team
Fortress 2.

The package also includes an installer, which will remind you of
releases of games. It imitates the look of a real "Valve release"
without any group-, logos, brandings or other marks.
It appears to be official. The release features a text language
changer, which can change the language of the displayed text in
the games (to the ones that are also supported by Steam). Tough
the voices are still in English. Maby there will be a language
addon for some languages.

With this release you will be able to play the box without any
Steam account or Steam itself. You need no internet connection.
Everything is fully playable offline.

You are also able to host a dedicated server, but since Team
Fortress 2 is the only multiplayer game included it is the
only one for which you can host one.

Updates cannot be received via Steam. They have to be published
by me. But nevermind, when there an update, I will make release
one too.

Important: Never install the Black box into the same directory
as the Half-Life 2 Collection (and vice versa). The different
engine types of the games would cause a crash and the some of
them would not be launchable.
You might not be able to run any mods with the Black box.
So if you like to play them use the Half-Life 2 Collection.

1. Unrar.
2. Run the setup.exe or burn all files onto a dvd.
3. Install the game.
4. Play the game.
