Mr Bean: The Animated Series is a 2002 animated television series based on the 1990 British TV series Mr. Bean. Characters from the original live action series included Mr. Bean, Irma Gobb, Teddy and the mysterious driver of the Reliant Supervan, with the addition of Mrs. Wicket, Bean's landlady, and her evil cat Scrapper.


Characterisation

Mr. Bean (Voiced by Rowan Atkinson) - The main protagonist of the series, who, like his live action counterpart, is very mischievous and makes lots of disasters. He also likes the environment to be clean.

Teddy - Mr. Bean's stuffed companion.

Irma Gobb (Voiced by Matilda Ziegler) - Mr Bean's girlfriend. Unlike the often frustrated live action version, here she is essentially a female version of Bean.

Lottie - Irma's teddy bear. She looks almost identical to Mr. Bean's teddy, except she has eyelashes and a red bow.

Mrs. Wicket - the main antagonist of the series, Bean's irate landlady, who also owns an evil one-eyed cat, Scrapper.

Harry - Mr. Bean's former kindergarten classmate, who only appears in the episode The Visitor. Harry eats too much and eats too fast and is very fat. He never stops eating and devours all the food in Mr. Bean's refrigerator.

The Burglars - Mr. Bean's arch nemeses in some episodes. First appearance: Missing Teddy (2002 Season 1, Ep.1). Last appearance: Young Bean (2003 Season 2, Ep.8).

Mr. Bean's neighbour - his neighbour usually annoys him much,as seen in Neighbourly Bean

The Queen - Mr.Bean is a fan of the queen,as seen in Royal Bean,The Queen only appears in two episodes A Royal Makeover (on TV) and Royal Bean (in person)

Roadworkers - Two unnamed workers that annoys Mr. Bean in Roadworks. They also have a short appearance in Royal Bean when Bean drives his car into their tent.They have a big guy and a small guy,looks like the Burglars but more kind.

Tutati - Mr. Bean's neighbour diabolical dog who always tries to kill him.


Series One - Disk Two - Eight Exciting Escapades

1. No Pets
Bean adopts a dog, then a parrot then a chameleon but Mrs. Wicket won't allow for any other pet than Scrapper in her house.

2. Ray Of Sunshine
Bean is desperate for a suntan and chases Sunbeam across town.

3. Birthday Bear
It's Teddy Birthday. Irma Gobb has remember but Bean has not.

4. The Mole
Mrs. Wicket's croquet game is interrupted by an offending mole. She charges Bean with removing it from the back garden.

5. Roadworks
Workmen dig up Bean's Road, sending Bean and his furniture into a juddering frenzy.

6. The Sofa
It falls to pieces so Bean buys a new one. But by getting rid of old one, loses the tv remove in the process.

7. Treasure
Bean goes on a Tresure hunt after finding a map in Mrs. Wicket's attic. Pirates and maps.

8. Homeless
Bean hunts for a new home as Mrs. Wicket has thrown him out.
