Escape from Scorpion Island is a Bafta nominated BBC children's TV adventure game show in which sixteen contestants compete for three weeks to 'escape from an exotic island'. Series 3 was produced by Foundation/Freehand for CBBC and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation
This series are hosted by JK and Joel. All episodes in this series are thirty minutes long on weekdays at 5:00pm on ABC1. However in the UK, the Episodes are broadcast every Sunday and last for 1 hour.


In the third series three teams will compete to escape the Island: Claw, Sting and Venom. Series 3 was filmed at Mission Beach in Far North Queensland (near Tully and Townsville) in 2008. Series 3 started on BBC 2 on April 5, 2009 and on March 9, 2009 on ABC.
