The first series of the drama based on the books by Faith Addis, staring Pauline Quirk, Warren Clarke.
When Brian's florist business closes due to a very high VAT bill imposed by Customs & Excise for not registering for VAT, the family decide to move to the Devon countryside to try their hand at running a small holding, with the intent of growing and selling flowers, with all the problems and joys they discover doing so.
Guide by TV.COM (although TV.COM titles episode 6 as "Love In A Mist", it was actuall screened as "A Field Of Dreams").
Episode 1. The Great Escape
Brian is forced to sell his business and the family decide to move to Devon, buying a small holding to realise their dream.
Episode 2. In At The Deep End
Youngest child Molly is in trouble, but her family are so busy settling into their new life that they are too preoccupied to help.
Episode 3. Oh Best Beloved
Sarah gets more than she bargained for at the dance whilst Brian isn't too happy to lean Faith has got a part time job.
Episode 4. Do As You Would Be Done By
There's trouble afoot on the farm as Faith's secret attempt to help turns the whole family upside down.
Episode 5. My Kingdom For a Horse
Marcus helps a friend and finds himself in trouble with the police. Unable to tell his family, he is faced with having to resolve the situation alone.
Episode 6. A Field Of Dreams
Brian and his family face the reality that their dreams won't come true after hot weather brings disaster.
