Crown Court was courtroom drama which ran between 1972 to 1984 and shown in the afternoons on ITV where it was produced by Granada Television. A court case in the Crown Court of the fictional town of Fulchester would typically be played out over three weekdays in half-hour episodes. Although those involved in the case were actors, the jury was made up of members of the general public from the local Granada Television area and it was this jury alone which decided the verdict.

WITH MENACES: REGINA v ASKIN

Synopsis: Agha Ali claims he is being threatened by the man who arranged his illegal entry into the country. When Muhammed Aslam is charged with blackmail, feelings rise to fever pitch.
