Crown Court was courtroom drama which ran between 1972 to 1984 and shown in the afternoons on ITV where it was produced by Granada Television. A court case in the Crown Court of the fictional town of Fulchester would typically be played out over three weekdays in half-hour episodes. Although those involved in the case were actors, the jury was made up of members of the general public from the local Granada Television area and it was this jury alone which decided the verdict.

BEGGAR ON HORSEBACK: REGINA v ERRINGBURN
Synopsis: Why as this straightforward case of theft by the accused Graham Erringburn reached to the crown court? He claims he walked off with his boss's overcoat by accident but the firm, where he faces with redundancy, claim it's pathetic attempt at revenge, or did it even take place at all?
