At the B&B the phone rings. Adam smiles at a struggling Steph as he answers it and tells the caller that Steph isn't taking bookings at the moment, he pauses and looks Steph in the eye as he tells the caller that there has been a bereavement in the family, he ends the call as Steph remains hopeless.
At Keepers, Turner has just finished another call, he marks something in a notebook as Betty asks him if he has had any joy, he tells her not really and returns the question as he approaches her sat at the computer. Betty tells him that it's as though Adam appeared there with no past at all, Turner comments that he is a bit worried that they haven't heard anything from Steph. Betty asks him if he thinks she should call and he tells her that Adam will be home and they don't want to do anything to raise his suspicions. Betty agrees and tells him to get back to her list as she gets back to the internet, Turner gets half way to the chair when a thought strikes him and he suggests that he should look closer to home remembering that he saw Adam talking to Pollard. Betty thinks it's a good idea but points out that Pollard is another one who is good at covering his tracks. Turner agrees but reckons it is worth a try.
