Sparks fly between Viv (Deena Payne) and Paddy (Dominic Brunt) during Sunday lunch laid on by Emily (Kate McGregor). However, after some tantalising games of footsie under the table, desire turns to anger as both Viv and Paddy try to deny their true feelings and end up arguing over the washing up!

Meanwhile, the Kings try to help Carl (Tom Lister) come to terms with Chloe’s (Amy Nuttall) treachery but his mind is clearly elsewhere. Later, in the Woolpack, Carl tells Denzel not to mess it up with Chas (Lucy Pargeter), but is he secretly hoping that he and Chas will get back together?

Elsewhere, Debbie (Charley Webb) uses the money that Charity (Emma Atkins) gave her to bail out the Dingles. After paying Pollard (Chris Chittell) for the damage to his car, a grateful Lisa (Jane Cox) offers to take Debbie shopping.

Elsewhere, a determined Matthew (Matt Healy) discovers what Jimmy (Nick Miles) is up to when he manages to get his hands on a business quote. Matthew later assures an uneasy Carl (Tom Lister) that their brother will get his comeuppance.

Over at the Dingles’, Cain’s (Jeff Hordley) lies catch up with him when Zak (Steve Halliwell) discovers a stash of cash in his caravan. Furious that Cain refuses to contribute to the family pot, Zak forces him to tell Debbie (Charley Webb) that it’s the money he got from Sadie (Patsy Kensit) to betray Charity (Emma Atkins).
