Things are back the same at the Vic this morning. Angie starts the morning drinking and calls for Sharon to take Roly for a walk. Angie is worried about where Sharon stayed while she was away and demands a promise that it won't happen again. After Sharon leaves for school, Angie invites Andy to come by after closing (by way of the side door of course) The next morning he tells Angie they should drop the affair as he's worried about the effect it is having on her daughter. Angie has a temper fit. That afternoon Angie tells Kathy how much his wanting to stop the affair has hurt her and what a prat Den is.

The exterior painting of No 3 is scheduled for this morning, but the scaffolding hasn't arrived as promised and Hannah is pestering Tony to fix a light. Meanwhile, Dot is taking her pills when she hears the clatter of the scaffolding being dropped outside her door at No 23. She rushes outside in her dressing gown to investigate. Tony and Kelvin are shifting it over to No 5 until Kelvin drops a piece on Tony's foot and he has to retreat inside for some attention from Hannah. He tries to talk her into calling into work sick for a bit of play with him while Kelvin finished moving the scaffolding. Tony tries to persuade Hannah to stop the divorce proceedings but she puts him off about it. Later on Kelvin has a word with Hannah about the divorce as well. When Kelvin decides Tony is malingering, he leaves for college.

That afternoon, Kelvin tries to get Ian to say how he is progressing with Sharon on a scale of 1 to 10. Ian says he thinks he is at about 8.

Tony goes to get some special screws for the light fixture but then loses them and goes to the pub as he doesn't want to face Hannah without them. He and Arthur have been working on the shop earlier and Arthur finds the screws which he takes to Tony so he leaves to face his wife a happy man.

OzCabs is off to a start with 2 calls so far today. Mehmet insists that they work in jackets to give a touch of class to the operation. Pete gets word that OzCabs will have a job going for someone to work the radio controls and mentions this to Arthur, telling him that he should get over there sharpish! Meanwhile, Mehmet arrives with the news that their father wants to buy their new cab company but Ali wouldn't hear of it and says flatly NO!

Michelle's taking her exams at 9.30 in hospital where the nurse is watching Vicki. Meanwhile, Ian and Sharon are taking their exams at their respective schools. Michelle takes a toilet break to have a look in on Vicki. Michelle surprises the tutor when she finished her exams early. Lofty visits in the afternoon and they talk mostly of schooling. When he rings back that night Michelle pretends to be asleep as she looks at her baby.

Quick comes to the pub where Debbie is working, hoping to have an answer from her but all she offers him is shepherds pie, sausage or chilli con carne. She had tried to talk to Andy about her dilemma over Quick.

After school, Sharon stops in to see Dot and talks about religion which delights Dot to no end. Dot tells her about her starting to go to church when she was younger than Sharon and how it helped her cope with her "trials". Later, Dot goes to the pub to gloat a bit about Sharon coming to see her to talk about God.
