Dominic arrives at the dock of Ocean Bluff. Grizzaka searches for the Crystal Eyes of the Phantom Beasts. He believes that the Beasts will join them. Dominic arrives at the Parlor and pretends to be a Health Inspector. RJ introduces Dominic to the Rangers. They head upstairs to catch up. Back at Dai Shi's Lair, Camille welcomes the Crocovile. Grizzaka hides the Phantom Eye from Camille. Grizzaka orders the Overlords to find Dai Shi, who is currently searching for the Nexus. Casey gives Dominic the job of scrapping gum and cleaning the toilets. Dominic introduces himself to Fran and they spark a common topic of reading books. RJ informs the Rangers about Dominic. Crocovile begins the attack.

Dominic accidently knocks the morpher into the trash can. Casey finds the morpher and heads to the city. The Rangers battle Crocovile. As Crocovile is about to defeat the Rangers, Casey joins the scene. Dominic witnesses the event as the Rangers work together against Crocovile. Dominic joins the battle and distracts Crocovile away from the Rangers. Dominic is careless and accidently places a human in danger. Crocovile retreats and the Rangers head back to the base. Dominic wants to join the Rangers. He tells his friends that he has waited six years for this moment. The Rangers decline his request. Dominic works hard to get the Rangers' respect. Casey continues to give him a hard time. Dominic accidently places chili peppers in the salt shakers. Casey blames Dominic for the mistake. Dominic helps Theo and Aljin in their training. The advice backfires when Dominic places grease on their weapons. Dominic prepares to leave, but RJ tries to stop him.

RJ tells the Rangers about Dominic's departure. Fran feels bad and asks if the Rangers really try to stop him. Fran gets a phone order for a delivery. Casey joins Fran in the delivery. Fran and Casey find Dominic sitting on the bench. Fran tells Dominic that he didn't say goodbye. Dominic saves Fran by unleashing his Rhino power. Casey witnesses the event and apologizes to him. Casey and Dominic head into battle. The Rangers face off against Crocovile. Red Ranger enters the battle in his Strike Rider. RJ gives Dominic the morpher. Dominic morphs into the Rhino Ranger. Rhino Ranger fights the band of Rinshis. Using his Rhino Blade, he fights strong. He powers up his Rhino Blade and defeats Crocovile.

Dai Shi grows tired as he is finally arrives to the Rhino Nexus. A barrier surrounded the Nexus. Dai Shi powers up to the Black Lion mode and is unable to barge through the barrier. At the Parlor, Dominic shows off his skills and charm. Dominic gives Casey a gift of the collected gum.
