This is a conversion to PAL from an HDTV recording. It's a true anamorphic widescreen DVD - your player will display it at 1024x576 pixels, not a letterboxed display; heaven forbid. See the sample mpeg or jpeg.

I've converted it using AVISynth, to an MPEG-2 which can easily be moved onto a DVD using any popular package. The average bitrate is 2000kbps, peaking at 3300kbps during the 'busier' (in this case, violent) scenes.
