About this compilation:
I found the "Star Trek TAS Complete HQ" Torrent (Size about 350Mb/episode)
was not very High Quality, as it has undergone a Telecine to NTSC and is not
deinterlaced properly resulting in interlace artifacts being clearly visible
when any movement occurs.
(see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telecine article about 2:3 pulldown)

Also the "Star Trek Tas - Entire Series" torrent (Size about 40Mb/episode)
is very low quality, specifically the sound, which is mp2 low quality 23kbps
and the video is DivX 3 Low Complexiy with a resolution of 352 x 240 @ 15 fps.

So I found myself compelled to download the best quality I could find and
compress these timeless jewels into something small yet watchable.
I coded these with Mediacoder 6.2 (an excellent GUI for x264) from the 17.5 GB
"Star Trek The Animated Series" 4 DVD SET ISO torrent. (included for reference.)
The DVD set has only the english audiotrack but various european subtitles.
Analizing the frames (PAL DVD) I found the original framerate must have been
12.5 frames per second as every frame was doubled in the 25 fps PAL.
The result: A high quality compression (almost undistinguishable from DVD)
AND 'smoother' motion as every frame depicts a different step in motion.
(While the DVD showed AABBCCDD my version shows ABCD in the original speed.)
