This show tells the story of a boy named Kyosuke Kanou. He's 16 years old and in his first year of high school in Jyojo Akanegaoka. He loves to play soccer more than anything, but he decides to quit because he has always been compared to his brother, a famous professional soccer player. When Kyosuke meets Mori, another boy in his class, he is inspired to play soccer again and joins his school's team. Along with Rodrigo, Sakai and the rest of his teammates, they have one goal/dream, win the national tournament and become the best high school team ever, but first they have to beat one tough opponent, Kokuryou High school. Do Kyosuke and his teammates have what it takes to beat Kokuryou and then, the national tournament?.
