Icehockey game Slovenia-Estonia from the 2001 World Championships, Pool B in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Recap: after being level on points before the final round and having drawn the direct match (3:3), the Pool A ticket was to be decided between Slovenia and Great Britain on basis of the goal difference. Great Britain had a 3 goal advantage, but their opponent in the last round was Kazakhstan, also a candidate for the Pool A ticket up to the penultimate round of the championship. What followed in the afternoon game between Great Britain and Kazakhstan was a disgraceful 11:3 result in a game between two eqully good opponents. Following this Slovenia needed to beat Estonia, a Pool C candidate, by 12 goals difference in front of their own crowd in Ljubljana that evening. Were they able to do it?
