Unleash The Archers are a 5 piece metal band featuring University of Victoria choir major Brittney Hayes on lead vocals and the heavy male backup vocals of guitarist Brayden Dzcykowski, progressive vocal harmonies mixed with crushing metal breakdowns and unique rhythms. Formed in Nov 2007 by ex-Meatlocker Seven guitarist Mike Selman, drummer Scott Buchanan and bassist Zahk Hedstrom, the band worked quickly to solidify a set and self-record a 4 track demo. Before long UTA found themselves opening shows for bigger bands such as Dismember, 3 Inches Of Blood, Cattle Decapitation, and are currently scheduled to play with Stratovarius and Edguy in late 2009.
