SPECIAL NOTE: To get updates from me on the capturing, editing, and compression process of the torrents, you can get more information by visiting a Twitter page I created at http://twitter.com/TourTorrents. I've never used Twitter before, so I'll be learning as I go. I created this so that you will all have a good idea on when to expect the torrents in the coming weeks.
TORRENT NOTE: This video has been edited with no commercials and covers the entire race live, no highlights. Part 1 & Part 2 are separate files so that you can download Part 1 first to watch the race while you are downloading Part 2. STAGE 12 DETAILS:
Date: Thursday 16 July
Weather Forecast: Sunny & Warm
Start And Finish: Tonnerre > Vittel
Distance: 211.5 km (131.42 Miles)
Stage Profile: Departing on their cross country ride towards the Alps the riders will encounter another day for the sprinters. At this point teams are looking ahead towards the Alps and they will have to be vigilant to prevent a break from escaping for the win.
As the riders depart Tonnerre they won’t want to know that they are arriving to one of the best known spa resorts in the country of France. The Vosges spa resort has attracted many of the nation’s top athletes that train there on a regular basis.
Vittel is a small, picturesque town located in the Vosges region. It also is where the Vittel mineral water basin is located. Vittel was honored with a stage finish, in 1990, that Jelle Nidham won and the following day held a time trial that Raul Alcala won with an average speed of 47.9km/hr. With Vittel as one of the major sponsors of the Tour it should be no surprise why the Tour is making another stop at this important city.
