Avatar The Last Airbender has to be one of the very best American cartoons in a long time. It has plot and heart-touching moments. Plenty of good humor - mostly via Sokka - and wonderful characters. In some areas it seems to move a little fast but by the time you reach pivotal points you do feel you've been taken on somewhat of a journey so it's not too bad in that area. Especially for being an American cartoon. The animation and choreography of the action is wonderful, the story is great, the characters are amazing and overall I'd recommend it before any other American cartoon.
Also, for those that do not download things they know nothing about I'll post a summary of sorts with my review. Long ago the world was one. The nations of Earth, Air, Fire and Water were peaceful until the Fire Nation launched an invasion. At this time the Avatar - the world's only hope for peace - disappeared. Now, 100 years later a brother and sister of the Water Tribe come upon the last living Airbender. The new Avatar. They must escort him on a journey to learn Water, Earth and Fire Bending and stop the Fire Nation before it's too late. Not so good, but better than nothing.
