Search 101 - The Murrow Disappearance (13 Sep 1972) sample frame from video
The Probe division of World Securities Corporation is hired to search for missing items, information or people. Probe's 3 agents are equipped with miniaturized television scanners, which secretly transmit picture, sound, and medical telemetry back to Probe Control, where the supervisor and his computer specialists provide information and analysis. Each scanner looks like an exotic piece of jewelry and is typically attached to a ring, tie-tack or locket. Each agent also has a small audio receiver implanted behind the left ear, so they can hear sound transmitted from Probe Control, as well as a dental implant they can use to send beep tones (once for yes, twice for no) if it is undesirable for the agent to speak aloud.
In this episode, Lockwood investigates the disappearance of a State Department official, which leads him to a private country club where the key to the operation may be a card game.
