The documentary features actors reading pertinent excerpts from Hitler's diaries and letters as well as those of his mistress Eva Braun and Nazi leaders such as Albert Speers and Joseph Goebbels. It also depicts the surrender of France and the conquests of Austria, Czechoslovakia and Poland, as well as a visit by Hitler to his boyhood home and school, as well as intimate scenes of the Fuehrer's inner circle at his Alpine retreat.
