"Generation Next is a term for the 42 million 16-to-25 year olds who watched the Twin Towers collapse, saw a student shoot down his peers at Virginia Tech University, grew up online and statistically speaking are better educated than any other generation in history. The aim of the Generation Next initiative is to unravel this generation of young people who are hooked to technology, generally supportive of gay rights and racial differences, partial to postponing adulthood and swamped in debt.

Like its predecessor, Generation Next: Speak Up, Be Heard, this program takes an RV on a cross-country journey to talk to and profile young people between the ages of 16 and 25 about their views on life, the future of the country, social activities, technology and other topics, comparing and contrasting them with previous generations."
