Picture are very long lived, yet relatively unheard of, Dutch metal act who formed way back in 1979, and who have just recently released a live album (though it is the first release since 1987!) Now that's some career for a band of their standing, I think you'll agree.
Anyway, this album was requested by Rezz, and is the band's 3rd full length album, released in 1982 (man I'm old!) and is also probably their best album too.
There really are some killer tracks here and the vocals are awesome throughout. Outstanding tracks are Lady Lightning, Message From Hell and the power ballad (all 80's metal albums close with them) You're Touching Me.
A little personal story about this album if you will indulge me....
I first heard a track on Fluff Freemans Rock Show, but at the time had no idea who it was by, I just had a recording on tape, and so I took the tape to a few stroes (Shades and my local import store) to see if they could help. Finally, after 3 months! someone came up trumps with the answer, and this was the album, the track being Lady Lightning. It still took 3 copies of the album to find one that wasn't warped, and today was the first time I've played it through since I got it 26 years ago! How mental is that, especially as it really is class from start to finish!

So, do yourselves a favour and grab this. If you like traditional 80's metal, with truly great vocals, this is for you!

About the AIFF format:

You can just burn the files to CD, as you would FLAC, and they will play. AIFF is Apple's format for CD. It will play in iTunes or VLC for certain, plus other media players too.
This is a very clean vinyl rip, just some minor crackle between tracks, but no pop or click.
I could have removed the crackle but it sounded awful. This is way better, trust me.
