After the popularity of my 2008 sampler, I thought I'd share this sampler of songs released between January and June of this calendar year. You'll find 1-2 songs from nearly 100 artists from the genres of metal (including thrash, death, stoner, gothic, etc.) and hard rock, all released in the past 6 months. There will be some stuff you've probably already heard, but I guarantee there will be a lot of stuff that you haven't heard already.

It will conveniently fit on an overburned 700 MB CD-R for your listening pleasure. It's only 128 kbps, but the purpose is to expose people to lots of songs, not give you a few high quality ones. If you like what you hear, go out and buy the whole CD (or simply find the whole CD somewhere on the net ).

Look for Volume 2 in mid to late December!
