In May 2006 Megadeth announced their eleventh studio album, entitled United Abominations was near completion. Originally scheduled for release by Roadrunner Records in October 2006, Mustaine announced in August 2006 that the band were "putting the finishing touches on it", and is scheduled for release on May 15, 2007. United Abominations will be the band's first studio release to feature band members Glen Drover, Shawn Drover, and James Lomenzo. In late 2006 several song titles were released to the public - "Washington Is Next", "United Abominations", "Amerikhastan", "Blessed Are The Dead", "Never Walk Alone", "Sleepwalker", "Burnt Ice" and "Gears of War". The song "Sleepwalker" was available for streaming-only for Megadeth Fan-Club Members in February 2007. It can now be downloaded from the official website. In March 2007, Dave Mustaine announced at the Megadeth forums that a new version of A Tout Le Monde would be released on the album. This will be a duet with Cristina Scabbia of the band Lacuna Coil, and the first single from the album.
