Û± "Overture of the Wicked" consists of of four songs. The ±Û
Û± first song, "Ten Thousand Strong" is the single track, ±Û
Û± and it will appear on "Framing Armageddon (Something ±Û
Û± Wicked Part 1)", albeit a bit different than the single ±Û
Û± version. ±Û
Û± ±Û
Û± Second, the Something Wicked trilogy that is comprised ±Û
Û± of the songs "Prophecy", "Birth of the Wicked", and ±Û
Û± "The Coming Curse" has been completely rerecorded. From ±Û
Û± the ground up this is a more vicious and more ±Û
Û± atmospheric version of the epic piece. I played all of ±Û
Û± the guitar tracks with a baritone guitar and Brent and ±Û
Û± I are locked up like a machine gun with the double ±Û
Û± kicks following many of the detailed picking patterns. ±Û
Û± This makes for a more Intense and wicked sounding ±Û
Û± rhythm section. All of the vocals have been redone, ±Û
Û± obviously by Tim Owens, who did a masterful job at ±Û
Û± retaining the passion and honesty of the original, and ±Û
Û± still put his stamp on it and made it his own. We also ±Û
Û± put in some teaser atmospheric things that will give ±Û
Û± you a hint of things to come on Part 1. But just a ±Û
Û± hint…we don't want to spoil any surprises. ±Û
Û± ±Û
Û± For those of you that aren't familiar with the old ±Û
Û± version or the Something Wicked story at all, you ±Û
Û± should check it out. The original trilogy is just an ±Û
Û± overview of the story that begins 12,000 years ago and ±Û
Û± leads us to modern day. You should look at the trilogy ±Û
Û± as an introduction to this whole epic. What is coming ±Û
Û± next in the 2 parts is a far more in depth look into ±Û
Û± this very tragic, heavy and apocalyptic sci-fi/fantasy ±Û
Û± story. ±Û
