This band consists of past and current band members and was conceived in order to play classic Sabbath tracks and new selections while not infringing on the Ozzy Osbourne-fronted version of the band. While fans and critics alike have taken to referring to the band simply as ``Black Sabbath,`` all band members have confirmed that this project is ultimately different from that classic group.
Scott Warren is only a ``semi-official`` band member, and plays keyboards offstage in a role similar to the one Geoff Nicholls performed for many years in Black Sabbath.
Heaven and Hell is currently in discussions with various record labels about recording a brand new studio album in 2008. More information will be made available soon.
