Greytown in the heart of The Wairapa is known as one of New Zealand's top food and wine destinations, offering everything from country cooking to haute cuisine, but one restaurant not offering what people want, is Wakelin House. Desperate owners Dave and Helen recently moved their family home from the UK to live the kiwi dream, but times are anything but a dream since they took over the restaurant and started cooking Italian in an archetypical kiwi country cottage. They have no idea where they are going wrong and are fast running out of options and dollars, with only months before the doors will close for good!
