Cursed Lullaby started as a whimper from within the walls of dirty
Los Angeles. Since the birth of the band in late 2006, they have taken the L.A. scene like a hurricane, wave after wave and continue to pull their fans with them through a spiral of nightmares and dreams. The world as we know it has ended with the whimper of cursed lullaby turning into a crushing bang
and opening a new world of mind blowing musical creation. Their debut album SALIGIA, released in May of 2008, begins with an Icelandic Nursery Rhyme but
it turns out to be a morbid tale of an old Icelandic folklore tale; a tale of death and deceit. SALIGIA is an acronym combining all the first Latin letters
of the seven deadly sins: Superbia, Avaritia, Luxuria, Invidia, Gula, Ira, and Acedia. Each song on the album takes a piece of these sins as the thematic
material for the lyrics.
