Guitar solos #1, final of #3 and #5 in the song «My Own Hell» are taken from the Necrophagist's album «Epitaph».
All the music performed and recorded entirely by José Travieso (guitars, bass, drums programming, keyboard and vocals), except ** (vocals by Sergio Rubal).
Cautiva was founded in 2006 by José Travieso -after the split-up of a young band called Desvirgator- to canalice his metallic creativity (he previously -years ago- released a few of recordings for solo piano in different styles: minimalism, romanticism, avant-garde, jazz-fusion...). Cautiva has finally been conceived as a "band of an only man" and actually José Travieso composes, writes, records and produces from time to time in his own study.
Cautiva is a Spanish word that means 'captive' and 'captivate' at the same time.
