Beschreibung:
In einer mittelalterlichen Fantasy-Welt lebt die 15-jährige Firiel Dee. Obwohl sie die Tochter eines geheimnisvollen Wissenschaftlers ist, der in einem nicht weniger geheimnisvollen Turm lebt, wohnt Firiel auf dem Land. Am Tag des Geburtstags der Königin des Landes erhält sie von ihrem Vater eine Kette. An diesem Abend wird Firiel nämlich zu ihrem ersten Ball eingeladen. Auf diesem Ball erfährt sie, dass die Kette, die sie geschenkt bekommen hat, einst der Prinzessin Edyleen gehörte, die vor 15 Jahren verschwand. Prinzessin Edyleen hätte die nächste Königin des Reiches werden sollen, und derjenige, der nun ihre Kette trägt, wird als Thronfolger angesehen. Aber die königliche Familie sowie verschiedene Adelige akzeptieren nicht, dass Firiel die nächste Königin werden soll. Und so beginnt ein großes Abenteuer für Firiel, die sowohl ihre Hoferziehung in einer Mädchenschule nachholen, als auch die Wahrheit über ihre Vergangenheit herausfinden muss.
